AI upgrade: use Llama 70B, Claude or ChatGPT in our AI tools

Our AI tools (ai-translate, ai-summarize, ai-ocr) run on small Cloudflare Workers AI models by default. They are free but basic. You can switch any call to a stronger model in one of two ways:

Example answer: "The quotation is valid for 30 days from the date of issue." The default model returned only "Hi to" for a short Korean greeting in our test, which is why this option exists. High-quality OCR can take 20–50 seconds per image.

Option B: your own Claude or ChatGPT key

Get a provider key. Claude: sign in at console.anthropic.com → API Keys → Create Key (starts with sk-ant-), and add credit under Billing. ChatGPT: platform.openai.com/api-keys → Create new secret key (starts with sk-), with billing set up. A ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro subscription does not include API access; API usage is billed separately by the provider.
Pick a model (optional). Defaults: claude-sonnet-5 for Anthropic and gpt-6.1-sol for OpenAI (checked October 2026). Pass any model ID your account can use, for example a cheaper, faster model from the same provider. The lists change; see Anthropic models and OpenAI models.

You can send X-API-Key (your TTDU key) in the same request to use your own quota instead of the anonymous one.

In Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code (MCP): add X-AI-Key next to X-API-Key in the connector headers, then ask for, e.g., "summarize this with provider anthropic".

In claude.ai you usually don't need this: Claude itself is already the strong model there.

What happens to your provider key and text. The key is passed through to Anthropic or OpenAI for that single request and is never stored or logged by us. Your text or image goes to that provider under their terms and data policy, and the response header X-Egress says api.anthropic.com or api.openai.com. Standard and high calls stay on Cloudflare Workers AI (X-Egress: api.cloudflare.com). See the privacy policy.

Errors

400 "needs your own … API key": you set provider but no X-AI-Key header.
401 "Anthropic/OpenAI API returned 401": the provider rejected your key (wrong key, no billing, or the model isn't available to your account).
401 for quality "high": send your TTDU key in X-API-Key.

Claude Code·Cursor 에서: 커넥터 설정의 headers 에 X-AI-Key 를 추가하고 "anthropic 으로 요약해줘"처럼 요청하세요.
